I'm actually kicking my self as the AOC monitor I have is really not that good compared to other monitors I have had. I'm kicking myself as this is the first naff purchase from OCUK I have ever made.

I'm actually not having a go at OCUK as the monitor is not advertised as all singing all dancing and the reviews reflect this.

Of late I have been watching a lot of movies and this is where it fails . If i shift in my chair the colours change drastically , either lighter of darker. It's really noticeable.

Sonow I think I need another monitor because this one, for me, is not up to the job.

Any suggestions? And also any Other comments of your experince of the AOC 27 " would be good to hear.

Cheers

M I'm not sure that would cover me though. I have had the product for about 4 months .

Wow it would definitely not cover you then. DSR limit is 7 days from date the product was delivered. I think you're talking about the viewing angles. Some TN panels are better than others. Moving from perfect position will make everything look odd but there's nothing you can do about it. Your best bet is to try and sell it and go for one recommended by the users on here.

What are they going to repair?

The "problem" just sounds like a limitation of the panel.

They might slip in an MVA panel they have lying around or perhaps swap it around for one. The AOC 2795Vh (I assume this is the model?) used to come with them but for primarily economic reasons it was switched to a Twisted Nematic model. Shaggy, make sure you ask them what exactly they are going to do. You don't want any nasty surprises when it comes to gaming for the sake of improvements to viewing angle. This limitation is very apparent on 27" TN panel monitors and although some are better than others it is something that you would probably notice on any such monitor.

They did not say what they were going to repair. I need to call them back on Monday with Ser No etc.

Even on OCUK webpage if i move my head up and down 2 inches the tone changes. That cant be right? Right?

I never really had many issues with my TN screens, had a crakcing HP one and then 2 nice Dell ones.

Moved over to a 23" P2310Hc Dell Screen and a Fantastic 27" Yamakasi the Yamakasi is by far the best monitor I've ever had.

Looking at the dell however I'm not noticing very much colour shift at all, not entirely sure what kind of panel it is but if you're happy with watching movies on a 24" then a 23" is VERY little difference.

Maybe have a look at the current Dell 23" offerings?
Or if you're going whole hog a nice 27" IPS screen is fantastic, theres a fair few different versions on "auction site" or a very similar monitor here @OCUK would be the Hazro 27" jobbies, fair bit more expensive but you have the benefit of a full UK 3 Year warranty dealt with by OcUK :)
