I signed up to AOL silver and after being enabled a 512kbit and them telling me my line wouldnt take 1mbit even though i had 1mbit for years with pipex 
. Anyway finnaly got through to scottish guy who was pretty good and told me he could put it through to bt, but i thought **** it masewell go for max. My max was enabled a week ago and now syncs at 4-5mbit but i ring aol and they say silver is the best i can get 
At least i am getting the 1mbit now though!
Is there anyway of getting to see my connection, or a trick to getting through to a uk call centre?
