AOL Problems

Hi all a friend of mine is having problems with AOL, the internet works fine until you go onto a secure part of a site. For example you go onto the eBay homepage, works fine, then once you click on "Sign In" or "My Ebay" the page cannot be displayed. Anyone got any ideas?

What equipment is he using? If he is using a router, has the MTU been set to 1400?

Is it working yet as its working fine here on AOL.

Using the Voyager 105 modem btw.

He using just the normal modem connected strigt to his computer.

Probably not the case if they're using a USB modem unless they're not using the AOL software to bring up the connection?

Is he using a router?If so its in the router settings

You'll need something like DrTCP to change the MTU.

The strange thing is that i was working fine and then just stopped one day :confused:
