aorus ax370 gaming 5 v aorus x470 gaming 5

hi guys

just wandering if anyone has noticed major difference between the two since release or any other manufacturer brands for that matter ?

i know that on 370 the bios update is neededfor ryzen 2600 range and above but everytime i try go latest one if i have a computer restart my system errors into bios so i stayed at f22 which i did mention to rep ages ago ? also can the x470 take the old ryzen chips or is it purely the new ones ?

X370 gaming 5 and K7 has 6+2+2 VRM and the X470 gaming 5 Has 4+3 VRM I believe.

X470 Aorus boards can take first Gen ryzens Bar the A chips as to save space on Bios chip .. you'll see there an issue with all vendors for bios space .

X370 was 6+4 (CPU+SOC) , x470 Aorus 5 is 8+3 . Unlike B450 that had 4 high + 8 low+ 8 cokes, 5 does have 8/8/8 but wired differently so still not classed as 8 true phases but massive 4 phases . Then you've got the 7 like the Hero being OTT with latest IR chips

Might be worth holding out till Zen 2 and x570.. all know that's when AMD will get the grease out
