Hi there

RTX series when it comes to coolers has pretty much just being a rinse and repeat of what we had on Pascal, of course that is not always an issue as many of the 1000 series coolers were and are superb, but what Gigabyte have done with their Aorus brand is really something special, instead of me trying to educate you all I would highly recommend you watch this short video clip from Gigabyte:

Now for me, this is exciting, Aorus have totally re-invented their coolers and they have also re-invented the RGB and lighting effects, of course there will always be people who dislike RGB and the whole LED effects etc. but hey Gigabyte also sell great looking 2000 series cards with all black coolers like the WindForce and Gaming for those of you who don't want all the glitz and jazz inside their PC's.

The great thing about these Aorus cards is they still look super stealth but also totally in your face if you want them to do, but in a real cool and unique way, Aorus have a true USP here.

Then of course you have the 4yr warranty and Gigabyte of course has a UK RMA centre should you wish to RMA directly with themselves instead of using us.

Now to celebrate these great cards, were offering them at some pretty damn tasty PRE-ORDER ONLY prices where on the TI's your saving well over £100, so check them out:

Not to bad a pricing along with 4 year warranty and being a triple slot monster

2080ti Xtreme is actually damn good price and cheaper then the Gaming OC and other flagships :)

Wow! Nvidia's propaganda, normalising ridiculous £1200+ GPU prices has worked on you, hasn't it.

I think he means it comparatively to the rest of the 20 series offerings.

While ocuk might get us decent discounts from the manufacturers, these prices are ridiculously inflated still. Same with Intel.

If things don't get sensible again either amd will surpass them both at least on prices or people like me who aren't on at least 60k a year will be not be upgrading or selling up and grabbing a console .

I think you would have to have a head shaped like a schlong to pay out £1200+ on a Gcard

I appreciate people are free to spend what they like, but i'd be baulking at spending £600 on a card, let alone £1200. Plus there's the long term damage it does to the entire computer components sector.

I have the 1080TI Xtreme version and it boosts to 2Ghz and sits there with temps now below 70 degrees. I have two systems, one with an AMD card and one with the Nvidia card I mentioned.
Can vouch for Gigabyte's cards as they are very good. However, their software such as the Aorus Engine gave me lots of issues lately to the point I had to uninstall it, but fortunately the latest version, whilst not perfect manged to work and allow me to control the lighting again.

I
could upgrade as the cash is not an issue, but I feel the Nvidia pricing is just excessive and given my experience with drivers, where they have yet to properly fix G-sync and having invested in an expensive card and monitor to use the feature, but cannot, I'm in no hurry to upgrade.

I feel the AMD drivers have proved much more stable and reliable and using the word 'Only' even if better priced than elsewhere is still inappropriate for this 20XX series. As much as I like this card, the pricing does not sit comfortably with me, especially with new features yet to be mainstream and not the staggering performance increase I was hoping. I will probably evaluate in six months time and hopefully by then we will have a better proposition, perhaps even competition where value for money still means something.

I actually felt physically sick when I learned the 2070 was £600. So Amd or Intel is my only hope for a decently priced upgrade to my now almost 3 1/2yrs old 980Ti. Nvidia what have you done, your greed knows no bounds and you are killing your own future. Just my opinion.

Flog your screen and 980Ti and get a vega64 and high end Freesync screen. Job done. You'll probably have, at most, £200 spent for a total upgrade.

While enough people are prepared to pay these prices NVIDIA will continue to increase them. It's working for Apple too.

With the RTX key feature not even supported yet by software I'm frankly amazed that anyone would pay early adopter tax on top of NVIDIA tax for something they can't even use, but I guess you can always watch the spinning RGB fans.
