Hi. Have been using a couple of old routers and more recently D-Link DAP-1360 'Wireless N Range Extenders' at a remote site, for connecting individual caravans over a wide area via CAT5 to a central router/internet connection.

Not really the way I would have set things up but I'm left with supporting it. In time I've suggested they create some kind of mesh to do this properly, but for now we're continuing with this. More caravans where added so we bought some more D-Link DAP-1360. Of the 9 I bought 3 of them are now not working. Going through D-Link support is painful/slow and I've yet to get things resolved, but as these are cheap, I'm looking for some replacement AP's which just 'plug & go' to get them working again without me needing to configure anything onsite (ideally I don't want to visit). So alternatives to the above AP from other providers please.

Security is not a high priority, they're very rural with no neighbours and these are devices for foreign contract staff (to communicate with families across Europe while they're away), so ease of use is quite important - just plug & go, 1 per caravan.

Suggestions?
