Apache Fans

Hey all

I just installed 2 Apache Fans on my Antec Kuhler 920 and ive noticed that i can no longer hear them ramp up lol
Is this normal? are they this quiet ? lol
The temps have been reduced a little from the stock fans also so i know they are doing something

I like my Apache fan at 6-800rpm it was inaudible, at max 1200rpm it was not loud. they are also efficient with good pressure. I also use Vipers which I think are quiet. These are now my case fans as I changed from a TRUE to Phanteks cooler.

Do you have a link to the fans you used. I have the same cooler and blimey it can get loud if you ramp up the fans!!

Funnily enough I have pair of them attached to an Antec Kuhler 920 as well and I agree, they are incredibly quiet

do you also find that you cant hear them ramping up? lol

try running a stress test.

i have 2 on a megahlems but the 140mm versions. they spin at 500rpm when the cpu is idling which means they are about 6dba

i think humans start to hear at around 10dba

I don't think they are that quiet on full, but around 900-1000 mine are.
