Apache's everywhere!

if chops flew over here id have to shout "bring up the gimpy" :D:D

good that they practice, they need all of it they can get, attack choppers in general are extremely vunerable in a war zone.

I saw a longbow flying over here in swindon last week too! Allways see Hercules flying around because were near to lyneham airbase but not those. Was awsome!

When did you see that?!! I wanna see one :( Not spotted any here in swindon myself although seen the usual hercules, hawks, c-17's and so on.

The first, last and only time I have every seen an apache was while driving through salisbury plain. It came in low and fast and shot across the road. Was awesome

I've noticed once every two weeks a group of at least 4 military helicopters (the one with two rotary blades spinning around) fly over my town further north. I'll a pic next time. It's very cool.

After the Republican Guards forced over 30 Apaches to retreat in a battle in Iraq back in 2003, it makes sense that helicopter pilots think up better tactics...IIRC, the US counted at least 100 downed helicopters in total, although the Pentagon figures are usually a little out of date.
