Hi,

I have been told this evening if I got Aperture from apple for my macbook it can do things I want it to do and I find it hard to believe.

Does Aperture do Dodge and Burns????

Cheers

Or buy photoshop. because you seem to want every other program you mention to do what photoshop does :/

Rookies I don't mean to have a go at you, but seriously... how many topics have you created in the last week? It's beginning to get a bit tedious with all the questions, try do some research first or something...

He did the same in the Mac/Linux forum when he bought his new Mac laptop. I just searched, and it shows ~60theads in just over a month started by Rookies!! So we've got some way to go until he's fully sorted with the photo forum! :p

as any body tried the new one tesco has released, they haev released an offce suite and a photo manipulation suite that is advertised as to compete with photoshop

Wild Life pictures and animals or am i being daft? May got to GP race tracks with my bro

70-200mm f/4 would probably be better, and remember it's not about the kit that takes a good photo it's about how skilled the person is taking the photo.

100-400 isn't that great really. For proper wild life shots you ought to look at the 500 F4, or maybe the 600 F4.

However. You've just bought your camera, so do you honestly think spending ~£900 on a 100-400 is a good idea when you're so new to all of this?
