Hi I am looking for help on the above api, and xml /soap...

Building programs in them. I only know C and excel/vba matlab maple, so not a great deal of non-scientific programming.

But I am looking for more informaiton on the above. does anyone know any good free online resources I can find out more on programming the above.

I am basically clueless on these topics, and need a bit of guidance.

If someone could help it would be really appreciated, or if anyone wouldnt mind me emailing them for help would be great!
 
If I am using the terms wrong and looking like an idiot, more than likely, please feel free to correct me, I only heard of some of this today

I want to build some apps, I know what I want to do. But no idea what all this api xml soap stuff is
