Hi Guys,

Some of you may have read my earlier post of covert purchases... I'd just like to say I was entirley serious and not being a muppet.

I can understand why you all might think that I'm being selfish but I really don't think that is the case... First of all the reason I have a "Get out of here" fund is this, yes we are trying to work on our relationship however over the course of the relationship I have sold virtually every single possession I have including antiques my late father left me in the will, which I have never minded doing, because it keeps a roof over my childrens heads etc but as a result I have nothing, hardly any clothes etc so if the relationship does end abruptly it would be me leaving the home with nothing but the few clothes I have left so my children don't suffer.

So I have a bit of money for myself kept aside incase things do fall apart entirely in order to make sure I can get a roof over my head and have regular access to my children...

Regarding my soon to be computer purchase of £3,500.00, this is an agreed purchase between us as she is starting university so a combination of the grants etc and our savings, not the above mentioned fund, is going to be used....

Our savings, account for most of that infact... but they are allocated for her starting university etc and are not to be touched

Before reading any of your comments/ suggestions I had already decided against buying a coat at all and am getting my old one, which I have had for 5 years, repaired... by a friend

Think what you want but my concience is clear...

You have a broken relationship, children and a bad coat but have set aside £3500 for a PC.

That's what I understand from this.

Oh, and you're a skinhead.

Hahhhmmm...

That's great, thanks for letting us know :) If you're serious with that budget then keep it to the hardware forums please.
