App to quickly disable one monitor? [for playing games]

i just want to be able to turn off one of my screens so its not using resources

doesnt seem to work for me, the mouse still disappears [ie onto the second monitor]
or will it not affect fps?

If on Windows 7, use the Windows key and P to quickly toggle between displays.

also how do i make monitor 1 monitor 2? my primary monitor is the correct one, but when i go to 'computer only' i loose the non primary monitor [monitor 1]

ie monitor 1, u2410,
monitor 2, u2711, primary
but switching to comp only disables the u2711

Having the desktop on the other screen is not going to effect 3d performance - not even by a single frame, that would just be mental.

ok thats all i needed to know, i wasnt aware of this, i know both are separate, didnt know it was that big a diffreence

its never been anything to think about until now
