Does that mean I can't use Win7 upgrade version & I need the full version ? there's about £30 difference in price it seems

I was looking at the "upgrade" version in a large high street supermarket with a name beginning with T. On the box I believe it said it was an upgrade for XP and Vista however going from XP would require a full install. The upgrade bit is just to do with the license.

He is a ******* tool. He is a typical (bad) Mac user. I'm sorry. A lot of them are Microsoft bashing idiots, who have never tried Windows 7. For god sake. Didn't the latest Apple OS have a HUGE bug in it? Didn't Apples keyboard have a massive security flaw that could be used for keyloggers.

I highly doubt the majority of these Mac fans have never used Windows 7. How does he know Windows 7 is an epic fail? I highly doubt he has even ******* tried it. Idiot. People like that need a good ******* slap.

"go a month without any antivirus and tell me its changed"

hmm i went from the launch of VISTA without any antivirus up until a few days ago when i installed Windows 7 RTM and not once did i get a single virus...

if this guys dreams came true and everybody started to use macs, they would be ridden with virus's. the only reason macs dont get as many virus's as windows is because its pointless to make them for macs as hardly anyone uses them.

windows is dangerous lmao!!!!! xDDD people windows is dangerous!! WTF? he doesn't agree with him self lol x] im sure he's like oh poo... i im wrong but who cares im an applesolder... x]

rubbish much? your reply is as bad as his video, assuming that is you.

I never fully finished what I had to say, I would be on forever. Hardware IS part of the issue, windows 7 still runs crap on 512 ram and businesses I know still only have 512. Once the machines are upgraded they will be changing to windows 7 and this is the only reason they are not running it just yet but it IS on the cards along with AD, DHCP, Exchange changes E.T.C.

As for home users, well not everyone needs to upgrade some people like XP, some people like Vista / Seven. Whats the difference at the end of the day who really cares except the people making the money.

Don't have to justify to you what I think :)

Any business running PCs with only 512Mb RAM is only using those PCs for thin client, MS office (basic use) and perhaps some web browsing. Even basic PCs in my work (and we don't have a lot to spend on them) are all over 1Gb, most on 2GB. Every new PC has 2Gb absolute minimum spec to go on the network.

We're jumping Vista and going straight to Windows 7 once we've tested it on our AD and with some of our older apps.

I've just posted a very long comment. See if he replies.

He won't, he rarely if ever replies and if he does he usually just posts some nonsensical gibberish. Half the time when he finally figures out he's been hammered in responses all he does is move on to another video full of lots of knuckle dragging.

He's already got 2 more up on windows 7 xp mode.

I don't think it's a case of hardware. From my experiences with smaller businesses, there's a lot of hearsay about Vista (not so much 7) to do with how terrible it is. Usually it's because some old codge has tried it and didn't understand why the interface was different or why Word 2007 looks different and 'doesn't work'.

As for the large business, some of that, but I'd be inclined to put it down to cost and compatibility reasons.

Hahaha I love this bloke, watched a lot of his videos.....even though he talks a load of absolute tripe, its highly entertaining.

'...im not saying its not best to do a whhhhhhyyyypeeeee'

gotta admit though, this Mac Vs PC stuff is starting to tire me out. I use both and Im as happy as a pig in ****.

Try upgrading 5000 systems / desktops over 2 years with a very tight budget, low technicians along with 60 servers and infrastructure cost over 5, 2 mile geographical sites running Novell and 100mb intersite links that's been changed to SCCM deployment with APP-V. You won't find your systems are up to spec then.

I'm sure all this SCHPEEEL everyone is kicking out about XP/Vista/7/MAC/Linux is just because they are bored and acctually don't have a life or even leave the house for that matter of fact.

wow, people are really showing him with those comments.

oh, well i wont get in to that. it runs just as well as xp imo. hardware isnt an issue unless it's lack of driver support, which isnt a hardware issue anyway.
