I was talking to my friend about this earlier and we were wondering what Apple's hardware line up would look like in 5-10 years time.

If they keep on the way they're going; expect the share price to reach 300 in the next 2 years easily.

Yeah, their market is tiny compared to microsofts by only allowing macs to use osx. Though it has been proven to work well on pcs with osx86.

I hope they are the dominant player in the personal computer market. Then all those fanboys would get there wish and we can sit back and watch them abandon Apple like a sinking ship when they realise how evil they actually are

Holy moley, down again!

I remember looking in the summer at the 200$ share price and thinking "I wish I'd jumped at 100$", but damn, that is tempting.

I could spend $4000 (£2000) on the shares, wait until next MacWorld and almost guarantee a top spec Mac Pro from the profits!

Then again, it might keep going down a while and it could take a year to reach $300.

Suppose them's the risks.. I'm willing to take though

It wasn't MacWorld 2008 that caused the slump.. It was the American economy crisis that's had that affect

Haha yea I saw this in Stuff or whatever it was. That was their prediction for this year from Apple, instead we got the MacBook Air.

Apple in 5-10 years will probably be roughly where they are now. They will never become a large shifter of computers, so will probably hover within a couple of % of the market share they occupy currently.
