You do realise the whole 'OMG UR IPHONE IS JUST EXPENSIVE FASHION ACCESOORY!11' argument has been done several million times before don't you.

If you don't like it or can't afford it, then just get on with it. I don't know what you are trying to prove to yourself or us.
 
Why the need to reduce it to pathetic personal insults and jump on to the OMG Fox bandwagon like many many other idiots on this forum? How am I acting better than everyone else, do you have some kind of inferiority complex? I was stating that it is overpriced, didn't really **** it off and certainly didn't call it a fashion accessory so don't talk rubbish. I just posted this because I thought it was a bit mental that some people will be paying neigh on a grand for an iPhone when something similar can be had for nearly half the cost sim free, is that not a fair point?

They're both good, does it really matter if one cost more than the other?

If you want to spend your money on an iPhone Vs. another handset, that's your choice :o

And i dont think you understand, the iPhone CAN be had at half that cost sim free, that is just one person, come on now, not that hard to understand is it....

And have you wonderd WHY so many people are jumping on the Janesy is a wannabe fox bandwagon, could it maybe be oh i dunno, that you act just like him? accept more of a prat?

It's not which phone is better, it's the fact this fool thinks a grand is the price for an unlocked iphone, haha

At a grand outright it is too expensive. But that isn't what it costs if you purchase it normally. Where are the personal insults apart from you calling me an idiot and saying I have an inferiority complex? Its just a tired and very boring topic of debate.

Unless I'm missing something, this is ~£540 on the o2 website? Anyway, it's not about what it's worth. It's about what you're willing to pay.

You can go around saying the same thing about pretty much anything - 'Why buy this, when that does the same job and is cheaper?'

My answer is always - 'Because I can'.

Is that proof enough? I can guarantee people will pay that. I know you can pay less but it is on a great number of retailers sites at about that price. Blanked out the competitor name ;)

I didn't insult you, I called neodite an idiot for jumping on a bandwagon, calling me a fool, accusing me of being holier than thou, a pale kid and a prat.

Reducing it to personal insults is just poor, shoot me down in flames if you wish but at least make a point without easing in some insult for no good reason.

£540 will buy you an iPhone which is locked to 02 Pay and Go. £999 is the price for a unlocked iPhone on any network.

Obviously, there are hacks around which will unlock the £540 handset (neodite's point) but that opens it's own can of worms if you want a hassle free upgrade path. I won't say anymore except.. some people need to cool the personal insults (and the competitor posting ^) :p
