i didnt know where to put this thred so i put in here as its quite general i think.

to begin the story we will set the mood. it was cold and windy night on this new years day. the night before i had set my computer to download the new patch for World of Warcraft 2.0.0 to 2.0.3 on utorrent becuause everyone knows blizzard downloader is really bad.
so i set this in motion and went to sleep thinking nothing of it. come this morning i turned my monitor on to find the wondows logon screen. i was confused but then thaught that once the download was complete, did i tell it to shutdown and instead it restarded itself?
i logged on. once logged on the message "you computer has recovered from a serious error" what is going on here, millenium bug 7 years too late? i opened utorrent to find the download at 0.0% what has happened to it, though im not a hardcore wow player i thaught this shouldnt have hapened. so i opened my computer to check if it was in the folder and utorrent was playing a trick. shocked again to find my spare hard drive to be missing. whaht the hell has my computer been doing to itself as i was sleeping.
so i looked at the side of my computer to peer in to see if my hard drive had blown up or something. i first noticed my ipod nano dangling by the head phones on the side of my case which was moved to open my case. to my suprise the power cable had moved and in affect turned the hard drive off. so ok push it back in and weee hard drive back online. had to check to see if everything was there which is thank god. so i thaught "now about this error".

as everyone should know is event viewer in admin tools shows you what major thing has been goin on, on your computer logged for your viewing later. once opened i started reading. firs page, yes thats ok, sums up what ive done so far thismorning then scrolling down i get 2 pages of red X's with system errors. i was like :D computer goe crazy here. reading into these errors it was programs on my computer failing. shocked i scrolled on to get more errors but this time the ! errors. so i read into these to noticed that these were writing errors. so utorrent saving the data from the wow patch update has crashed my computer. hahaha your prob going or hes using utorrent  he be a illegal downloader. no way i got the idea of using the torrenter from the wow forums so blame the other guys.

now thinking about the events that have happend i started to laugh. dam you apple. what had happened (you prob already know by now) is that my ipod had fallen, hit the side of my case which inturn knocked the power cable on my hard drive which then caused utorrent to continuly try to save data it had downloaded, which crashed it, then that had then crashed other applications that run in the background which also need the hard drive which then incurred the "Blue Screen of Death." all thanks to the ipod.

sorry to write this long and boring story but i thaught some of you out there in forum land would find this quite funny to see that my ipod tried to murder my version of windows XP and my computer. maby its a sign to buy a mac :D

so what do you all think of this?

Sorry couldn't resist! Unlucky, at least there wasn't any damage done and just some time wasted

No it did'nt. Im a student with a hangover so it wont happen this early :D

Elementary my dear Candyman. But what you have overlooked in your investigation is that the suspect 'nano' was right handed, and the power cable would require a left hand to pull it out. I deduce instead that a poltergeist was responsible for this heinous crime!

/puffs a pipe.

You need a better power cable. Mine are tightly plugged in, and take some pulling and wiggling to get free.

Are you sure the iPod could have done that? Sounds more like a younger sibling winding you up or something. :p
