Apple Keyboard

I've got one and I find I can type faster - quite a bit faster compared to the old Apple keyboard. The only wee problem I've encountered is that the caps lock needs a definate press rather than a flick that I've tended to use.

I understand from my local Apple Store that many customers have been asking about a full sized wireless keyboard. It wasn't just me :)

On the full size ones, you must apply a registry modification to change the F13-F15 keys to Scroll Lock, Print Screen, etc. Otherwise they work fine.

It will probably be like using a macbook in bootcamp with windows. There is no hash (#) key so you'd have to map one, also there is only a single delete key. On a macbook there is a backspace key and no delete, you have to do Fn + Backspace to get a delete so the Ctrl + Alt + Del on a macbook Keyboard is Fn + Ctrl + Alt + Backspace.

On a macbook I had to remap the " key even with a UK keyboard layout as the symbol it produced was two dots and not a speechmark. You can use the MSKLC program to do the remapping on windows, it depends if you want the hassle of remapping keys just to use this keyboard.

I've got one of the previous models, wireless version. It works very well with Windows.

However there is no Print Screen button so I use SharpKeys to map the Print Screen function onto the F13 button.
