apple or android

100% your decision, if you want something new/fresh more customizable "Free" etc get android phone :) if not stick with iOS

Depends, are you happy with the simplicity of the iphone or do you want to be able to do more with your phone ie themes, new roms to make your phone faster and smoother??

If your happy with the simplicity of the iphone from a software point of view then stick with that. If you want to do more with your phone then i suggest the S3.

Personally i was bored of my iphone4 so ditched it and got myself an S3 and since having the S3 i havent looked back once and dont intend to. The iphone as nice a phone as it is, just doesnt do anything for me...its a boring phone with not much scope to do anything other than what Apple tells you can and cant do with the phone. I get much more satisfaction from my S3 than i ever did on my iphone.

If you havent already, get down to a shop and have a play with an S3 if they have one on display.

I've been an iPhone guy since the first one and bought the iPhone 5 and within 2 days had bought a SGS3 and sold the iP5. I think Android is the future now, Apple have had their day and with Jelly Bean about to land on the SGS3 any second now it's going to be pulling away even further.

Android seems to be developing much faster than ios. I dont think it has caught up just yet but it is doing really well and personally the customization available on Android is invaluable to me. On that basis I would go for the S3

I would personally say android is actually better than ios and it is that which needs to catch up.

I tried the Ip5 today for a little bit, I dont get the screen at all its just really ugly in my opinion - honestly dont get how even the iphone fanboys can say its a better screen than the sg2 or 3.

Had an iphone up to the 4 - switched to htc desire and now on sg2 , Android is the future, never looked back once. Looking forward to the Jellybean release hopefully before Xmas.

But its your decision of course do what you feel is right, but make sure you dont blindly follow one brand just 'because' and actually look at the options out there and the features that are important to you.

Interesting announcement on The Register that Samsung are looking to release an SG3 at iP5 size (or SG2).

I'm a big Android fan and can honestly not see the attraction of an iPhone over anything Android since 2.3

If the SG3 mini specs are true then it doesn't deserve the S3 branding on its name!

I went to an S3 and had sold it again within a month to go back to iOS.

Complete personal preference, nobody can tell you which is better.

I've been on iOS for 3 years now but after recently having a play with Jelly Bean on a Note II I'm going to make the switch to Android. So smooth and fast. The customization potential and massive screen have also helped me make my mind up.

I found IOS works better out the box but Android is much more customizable. This tends to confuse the sheeple, they rage and go back to IOS.
