Apple Releases Safari 3.1

Can't wait for a Saft update now.

I remember seeing a post somewhere on the Interweb on making Saft work on the newer Safari, even though it wasn't support. It was modifying a plist or something. Anyone have this?

Anyone tried the new firefox beta?
Looked horrible at first and now I love it, especially the smart bookmarks and search using the URL bar! Something all browsers should start to use.

Also heard something about a shopping trolley that stays in the browser and not a website, means you can carry all your things you want to buy or are considering around where ever you go!

Meh, for what I do, Safari is more than enough.

I think the Mozilla team need to remove a lot of the spaghetti code from Firefox before I'll switch back.

It seems every build was adding more to the program, and it always felt bloated on OS X.

Only reason I downloaded the beta was the current release version kept crashing on me which was winding me up!
Beta was worth a go and I love it so far, its quicker, looks nicer and functionality wise its definitely improved!

Will try the new Safari once I restart my MBP

Only thing stopping me from changing from firefox to safari, on mac, is bookmarks.

FF I have the bookmarks sidebar open all the time but in Safari if you want bookmarks open it makes its own tab :(

One thing i would like for Safari is a google toolbar so i can use my bokmarks from the google toolbar, saves me having several versions of bookmarks.

Haven't noticed much with this new Safari, I do however, have not had any more problems visiting my bookmarked Hotmail link straight into my account - no more cache/cookie errors (the never ending looping acoss 3 or 4 web addresses)

That's a plus :)

The small cross button to close a tab often takes multiple clicks or requires me to move off of it and back on before it will register. The only thing I can think of is that I'm using SteerMouse
