Apple remote problem

In the same room, I've got a (new style) Apple TV and a couple of iPhone docks connected to a Windows desktop machine.

The problem I've got is that when I use the Apple TV remote, my iPhone in the dock also responds to the commands and starts playing random music.

I thought that pairing the remote the Apple TV would resolve the porblem but it hasn't. Short of putting some duct tape over the IR sensor on the dock, does anyone know of a way to stop the docked iPhone from responding to the Apple remote?

i had same prob with my dock on my iMac and my Mac mini which uses the remote all time with Plex

i went the duct tape route as at the time i couldnt find anything on it, will look in to monkeys way

Thanks for the linked Apple support thread but sadly it didn't work. Think I'll go down the duct tape route.
