Apple 'Spring Forward' Event 09/03/2015

Only thing that would stop me replacing mine is the lack of connections, I regularly use a projector at work so I couldn't use it for that

Notice how on the scissor keyboard they tapped the very edge, whereas the new "butterfly" keyboard they tap...well, not on the very edge.

This thing looks pretty awesome, though of course performance and battery life are the big question.

Haha, this thing is insane, although ultimately they're clearly still differentiating between this and the Pro in terms of power etc.

There's your battery btw - make logic board uber tiny and fanless, fill the rest of the space with batteries.

All-day battery life, 9 hours web browsing, 10 hours iTunes movie playback.

802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0

Oh! WOW! That single port versatility!

Well...looks like I'm replacing my 2 month old rMBP already! lol

Yep, very much a mobile machine. Not really a replacement for a bigger MacBook Air or rMBP from a performance perspective (though CPU performance is not too far behind it seems!).

Must say that the lengths that Apple have gone to to build this thing is pretty incredible. To be expected though.

It would be nice if there was 2 of them so that you can still use peripherals while charging.
