I've never que for anything before

So asking which store people going to and how early is best to go?

Brighton. An Apple store employee told me around 5am is the best time to arrive going on past launches. I'm getting there at 4am. If it's horrendous, more than 100 in queue then I'm going home!!

Why do people queue and not preorder?

Because O2 wouldn't answer their damn phone to preorder. And I couldn't upgrade online as I have a sim only deal currently. By the time O2 released contract details and I realised they were only doing 24 month contracts of dubious value it was too late to order one sim free from apple

So I either queue up or wait a month!

I don't understand the queueing mentality, especially for something as uninteresting as a phone.

Seems a total waste of time to me ... and I detest queueing, even for 10 minutes at the grocery checkout.

Preorder all the time for me (not that I'd (pre) order anything Apple produce.

I used to think queuing for a phone was for idiots, then i remembered i've queued over 24 hours for a football ticket, so i guess if you want something badly enough, you'll queue.

Difference is - If you were offered to pre-order it off the net beforehand and have it delivered - I'm sure you would choose that option

But that football match must have been a special event yea? Like a final?

The leagues are every year (for 4) but the situation/teams are probably different each time...which makes it worth it.
