Quick question. Can the discount be had in store with a nus card or is it online only?

In store, but with a uni card I think, or that's why I needed to produce when I helped my cousin buy a Macbook Pro

The discount is for higher education (uni), and you can get an NUS card before uni.

My cousin was buying on xmas eve as a present for his sister, just said to the bloke that it was for me, I shoved my card, and viola, £140 saved.

6% if you buy from the educational store, but give them a ring, tell them you're a uni student and you should get the higher education discount, between 12-15%, depending on product

Instore discount is same as online.

You get 6% for school, about 8%-10% for college, 12-14% for uni.

Roughly. Varies on machines, tends to be the lower figure for 'consumer' machines and the higher for 'pro' machines.

You just need some sort of proof, NUS card, acceptance letter, Uni/College ID card etc.
