Apple tablet

The problem is an eBook reader requires different screen technology. The current level of technology that is good for eBooks is bad for computing because the way the screens work.
Until colour fast response eBook screens appear then it's unlikely that apple will push the eBook seriously. Probably something they're working on until the tech becomes ready.
Good point about that, unless you're the type who can manage to read fine on an LCD. I've not used a dedicated E-book reader yet so I don't know much about their tech. I do know that a tablet would suit me just fine for that purpose...

Apple are rumoured to be setting contracts with media/news companies, so they obviously plan on not just a table, but a whole host of other media devices.

Microsoft obviously saw it as enough of a threat to make the Courier public knowledge

I myself think the Courier sounds far superior even though that is definately in a later stage of development.

If I could use a courier screen as a keyboard then I have a netbook/notepad/media tablet all in one with OneNote integration.

The tablet market is going just taking off, so I would imagine seeing this sort of thing between 2011 - 2013. Even though we are seeing a lot of tablets from hardware manufacturers they are simply laptops with one or two screens and I havent seen anything that will compete.

Lets just hope they get the battery life sorted!

awwww I opened this thread excited about the concept that there might be an Apple Graphics Tablet :(

Not that there's anything at all wrong with my Wacom Intuos 3 but you just know apple would make it much more aesthetically pleasing :D
