Apple TV 4

Just ordered the 64GB. I'm not sure what will come along from developers with tvOS so thought best to have the extra space.

I'm also planning on using Plex, so again the extra space will come in handy.

Good luck with that, developers have known for a while that there is no such thing as persistent storage on Apple TV. From the tvOS documentation:

There is no persistent local storage for apps on Apple TV. This means that every app developed for the new Apple TV must be able to store data in iCloud and retrieve it in a way that provides a great customer experience.

Along with the lack of local storage, the maximum size of an Apple TV app is limited to 200MB. Anything beyond this size needs to be packaged and loaded using on-demand resources. Knowing how and when to load new assets while keeping your users engaged is critical to creating a successful app. For information on on-demand resources, see On-Demand Resources Guide.

Your app can download the data it needs into its cache directory. Data downloaded will not be deleted while the app is running. However, the data may be deleted while your app is not running and the Apple TV needs the space. Do not use the entire cache space as this can cause unpredictable results.

This may be something that changes in later versions of TvOS. I'd prefer to have the storage there just in case, then not need it, rather than down the line be annoyed because I keep running out of space.

They don't have a firm release date for store stock yet, it's purely pre-orders from the web at the moment. I had the same question so spoke to an Apple rep about it.
 
Same here. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I just realised that despite having owned Apple hardware of most types for years, this is the first thing I've actually preordered. I take it others have found they generally deliver the day after taking payment on preorders?

Just had by shipping notice come through confirming delivery tomorrow via DPD which is a bonus (assuming it's the normal driver, he knows which neighbours to leave stuff with while I'm out).
