Apple TV replaying different controllers commands

I press volume up on the sound bar remote once, and it goes to full volume. Same on the volume down.

Scratched my head for 20mins and discovered with the Apple Remote near by, it was the Apple Remote picking up the signal and blasting/replaying it several times.

Help. I’m easily confused. Which is why I have a harmony elite that helps…until this pesky Apple Remote is doing something I didn’t expect.

Hmm. I’ve restarted the Apple Remote and all is fixed.( Home + volume down for 5seconds)

It was basically constantly blasting out the last IR it has received.

Mental.
