HAs anyone switched from a boxee box to an itv?

I'm tempted to make the switch and sell my boxee after hearing some good reports on the apple tv.

How long is a piece of string? What do you want to do?

If all your content is in iTunes / you can get it into iTunes, you only really use Netflix etc, then the Apple TV can't be beaten. It has a fantastic UI. If you want something to play every file format you have stored on a network share somewhere, the Apple TV isn't that thing.

Can't imagine why you would want to do that. I suppose you could Jailbreak it and install XBMC, but why bother? You already have the playback ability of XBMC (Boxee uses it under the hood).

Have to say I was massively impressed with the Apple TV when I first saw in (in a house we were in for a week over christmas). However, like Caged said, if all your content isn't already in iTunes (or Youtube or Netflix), then it's a bit useless and XBMC would be the better option.
