It suddenly hit me after purchasing a 13" Macbook Pro to carry around with me from A to B .... Purchased a 27inch iMac afterwards now the wireless keyboard is great really impressed not so much with the magic mouse for various reasons, but back onto the keyboard wouldn't it be a lovely touch if it was backlit seeing F5 and F6 blank just isnt right! does anyone disagree?

I thought this was Feek for a second because of the font, then I realised that the quality of the post wasn't up to his usual standards, then I checked the username :D

But yeah I'd like a backlit wireless keyboard, however I change the batteries far too often in this thing as it is :)

Oh well no offence taken.. haha, At work I use Trebuchet Size 12 in every document I create! really? I have only had both the wireless mouse and keyboard for a week or two Im sure I wont be too shocked as Im used to replacing wireless xbox 360 pad batteries! But yeah thought it would have been pretty cool!

It's my mouse that eats the batteries. The keyboard requires much less changing. Even though I turn the mouse off and leave the keyboard on all the time, the mouse still needs recharged batteries several times before the keyboard.

But yes. If the keyboard was backlit, I could see it flipping to the keyboard needing fresh batteries on a more regular basis.

Get one of those Mobee chargers for the magic mouse, great piece of kit. :)

You replace batteries quite often? I bought this wireless keyboard over a month or so ago and I still haven't had to change the batteries, funnily enough the keyboard is still on 100% battery life, I honestly don't get what is going on.

With my magic mouse, I have to change that every month I think.
I don't use my Mac as much as I'd like though, so maybe that is one of the reasons why.

I have had my Magic Mouse and Wireless keyboard for two weeks roughly now, pretty constant useage too.. and they both claim they are 100% will be interesting to see if this figure even budges! thinking of changing mouse to a decent wireless mouse.. Im thinking Logitech, the MagicMouse over a 27inch Screen and just the general feel of the mouse does not do it for me, It just looks great.. anyone else using a different wireless option? also using a different keyboard?
