Guys

I have had a few BSOD in BC2 and it appears to be graphics driver related so I have triend to update from 10.3's to 10.3b's and I keep getting "application install: install package failure" at the end of the install, I have uninstalled numerous times with ATI's manager and even used driver sweeper to clear everything but when I go to install again I get the same error??

Really beginning to bug me :(

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Thanks

Error messages
Application Install: install package failure!

I had the same problem
I solved it by (after uninstalling ccc etc) going to the control panel, and choosing uninstall programs.
Look at the list of programs if you have 2 Microsoft Visual c++ redistributables then uninstall the latest one (usually the x64)
And then reinstall the latest drivers or the drivers you want.

When you choose the directory to install to it'll say "ATI Technologies", remove the "Technologies" so it matches the default directory it extracts to.

whoops maybe I've given the wrong advice.
But my problem was similar, and it's to do with the error message "INF file not found" coming up during install and the whole package (driver and ccc) not being installed after.

Right after lots of reading and mucking about I have carried out a custom install and unticked:

- HDMI/DP Audio Driver

And

- AMD Drag and drop Transcoding

And the 10.3b's install without and error :)

Just hope they fix my BSOD after all this

Hope this helps someone else
