You know those foam applicator pad things you use for applying polish, wax, t-cut or whatever? How do you was them?

I've not used them prior to today, using various cloths and things previously but having used one today I'm finding it virtually impossible to clean. No matter how much I wash and rinse it, there's still gunk coming out of the damn thing. It's like trying to wash paint out of a roller, next to impossible to get it all out.

The packaging says to wash it as you would a towel, by which I presume you're supposed to shove it in the washing machine but frankly there's no way I want that thing in there with other clothes with the crap that's coming out of it!

So how do you wash them or do you just treat them as disposable and throw them away after use?

I throw them in the washing machine with my wash mitts and other cloths I've used - must have washed my Meguiars ones at least half a dozen times and they're still like new.

Do they actually come out clean? I've tried washing and rinsing them so much by hand and there's still some crap coming out of them so I'm now questioning how on earth a washing machine could do more than I've already tried?

They do indeed come out clean Toby, mine have been washed loads and only have slight marks on them :)

Wash them alone or with other car cloths, don't stick em in with the clothes.
