Even IF the Wii IS a fad people love it for the gameplay cause its fun, I mean look at the DS lite its selling loads and always gets a great price on resale too. It aint a graphics engine its just pure pick up and play fun.
If the PSP hadnt had all the extra features that its does im sure as a handheld games machine it would have bombed even though it has superior graphics to the DS.
Gaphics arent all that as long as a game has awsome gameplay and looks alright peole love it.
I mean look at tetris you 'graphics hoar'

, Its just intersting that only part of a story is told rather than the full one. Seems to be a lot of SONY IS DOOMED LOL posts about without any real evidence, the PS3 not selling as well as hoped AT THIS TIME, is not the end of it. The PS3 has a 10 year life span (PS2 been around for 7 and still going strong), judge it in a year or two then see if its failed. Theres no way its going to dominate the market as the PS2 did, dont think anyone even sony thought the PS2 would do that well. I agree with most analysts who think it will about a 30%ish market share for all 3 consoles in the end.Nobody on these forums understands the wii and doubts its sales as hype, you all seem to forget that their console is not aimed at you, you're not buying it, their target audience is 
The wii is good fun for everyone, it is not something I could have long term fun with regardless of the price. The 360 is my machine, but i wont knock the wii Nintendo are the kings of gaming entertainment and always have been. I also like the fact that Nintendo always have been and always will be a gaming company, they're not some miltinational conglmorate software/electronics company trying to get a piece of the gaming pie. One reason I miss sega so much

For MS the Xbox has lead to big losses by the entertainment division for 6 yrs. And for Sony the Playstation division has been making money, but has posted a loss for the first time this year?
Incidentally I think Sony are a larger company than MS overall, in terms of revenue, but MS are bigger in terms of profit. Not certain.

I often find when people try to be witty on these forums in a reply to someones post just shows a lack of intelligence more than anything, instead of winning credibility in thier previous post they try to win out with a silly comment like yours, you may as well be a pain of glass
,sillyness is thinking that every gamer on the planet has the same opinion as you do, just b-cos your a graphics hoar does'nt mean everyone else is, and I can pretty guarantee outside of a tech forum the genrule concensus would lean much more towards gameplay than graphics, anyone with an ounce of common sense would agree.
the facts are atm, nintendo are topping the sales chart in pretty much every country atm and at the same time the ds light and the wii have the worst gaphics out of all the main stream consoles.
anyhow, I'm off to hunt down f-zero for me cube
