I asked a question regarding cycling and if I am average I asked:

If I am cycling at 18-19mph over 40 miles is the above average?

They replied:

Riding at 18-19mph is above the average speed of cyclists which is 15mph, The Tour de France covers 2,178 miles and the top riders average is 25mph.

Wonder if they are right?

they prob right about tour de france, and 18-19 average is prob what i do (excluding traffic lights )

but 15mph is not the average, thats way too fast, some people are so slow it looks like they are not even moving! id say 10mph is average!
