Did u remove the stickers on the fans ? Did u replace them or just removed them ?

With the controller, is it possible to ramp the fans up to 100% (1500rmp or so) with no problem, even if theres 4 fans on 1 cable ?

I didn't remove the stickers as didn't need to on the bottom as they are facing inwards as then I've got it on pull ..The top ones i can't see as when there on i have the LEDs on the ram and motherbaord bounce off the stickers .and these fans go to 1500rpm with no problem .they actually go to about 1580 on 100% due to the fan controller being in power mode and not rpm mode .you could run all 8 fans on one splitter if you would like ..I should have done this as then they are all the same speed under 1 settings I couldn't find a 8 way splitter, there is a 6 way on overclockers I think .

Can aquaero 6 be set to watch temps reported by aida64 and change fan/pump speed accordingly ?

I have something like this in my mind but not sure..

Yes, use the aida64 sensors as an Aquaero Software Sensor and use that on your controller of choice.

Regarding max fans per channel, there is more to it than just total wattage/amperage with non PWM fans. Slowing via voltage control will be achieved by an increase in resistance. This will generate more heat on the fan channel amplifier. More fans controlled/being slowed = more resistance = more heat.

If the amp overheats the Aquaero will throttle the channel and speed the fans up to reduce resistance.

Keep an eye on the channel amp temps, you may want to buy some passive heatsinks for them and/or get some direct airflow aimed at the unit. I've got mine water-cooled as part of my loop.

I'd suggest you split your fans across the channels, there's no reason to put them all on one channel unless you have a huge amount of fans total or have some requirement to control all on a single group.

You can assign whatever group of fan channels to a single controller so you still have flexibility.

Its good to know. I see this devide is really good. I currently have Lamptron CW611 which is nto bad, but I'm missing the automatic regulation and I want something more sophisticated.
I will be definitelly switching to aquaero 6 XT. I like the touchscreen idea.
Any downsides of XT ?

Normal wattage is ~30W per channel. How much W does this add?
I don;t think there's a need to wcool the unit when splitting the fans reasonably, right ?

Watercooling is kind of overkill yes but I had the chance to.

I don't think cooling the unit will add any wattage headroom but am not 100 percent sure.

I personally got a LT unit which os mounted internally. I have no use for a screen and like to 'set and forget' once setup in software I've no need to fiddle.
