Arc Raiders

Or he's got a reputation, you know like when you play against your kids/nephews etc and you let them win because it feels cruel to just do otherwise. So they're all like heyyyyy buddy, you go get that loot.
Maybe they are all WWE fans and when they see my name showing as Tombstone, they think its a homage to the Undertaker (its not, I've been called Tombstone online for 30 years, but its wild west Tombstone, not wrestling Tombstone :) )

Or they think you're the legendary Tom Bestone, could be a number of things!

To be fair I don't think you ever really enjoyed this game but didn't want to admit it. Most of your posts are thinly veiled salty whingefests, and despite numerous attempts by others (myself included) to give you a bit of a steer (time of day being absolutely critical), you're still moaning.

Honestly mate if you're getting so wound up then just move on, no game is worth getting so frustrated about.
To be fair I dont think you know what your talking about. I've had plenty of fun, despite the first few days being a bit of a rough learning curve for me. Squadded play is still great fun, and I enjoy it immensely, especially when played tactically, its really the only reason now that its still installed.
My problem has been solo play mostly. Yeah squadded play has definitely followed the same trend but its like a different game.

I dont get where you think I've ignored advice. I've tried all suggestions, I've played morning afternoon and evening, cant say I've noticed a huge difference in experience. I play with cross play on and off, I've tried different server regions...

A discussion thread dosnt have to be a huge circle jerk. People can share their negative experiences as well get over it! I've said plenty of positive stuff on the game. I am a little salty though because one of the elements of the game that I was really enjoying is no longer enjoyable. Tough for me, but there is nothing to say I cant vent about that in a thread about that game.
Ignore it if you dont like reading it!

Just tried two runs and visited the Old Battlegrounds, was hopping to find some Wasp Drives or Hornet Drives, but they are all burned out stuff (which was ok, earned me quiet a bit of coins which was needed too !). Just wondering where is the best way to find those two Drives ? Also, Tick Pod's.. where, or maybe more accurate, which ARC drops those ?

Maybe you just look like a massive loot pinata then, dunno.

Tick pods are dropped by the tiny little spider arcs, little dinky white things that jump up at you and skitter about, those are Ticks

This, and once you know the sound they make, they're very easy to find. They're always stuck on walls or ceilings in buildings, especially dark ones. Also very easy to melee once you get the hang of it.

Admittedly they do make you **** yourself the first few times they get you :p

Ahh those ones, thanks ! Yeah I stumble upon them, did make me jump the first time one attacked me though ! :p

Hornet and wasp drivers you get from destroying both those things.

They are the things that fly around like drones, probably the most common ARC you'll see. Aim for the thrusters.

There needs to be a decent implementation of raider to raider trade that beats going above ground to drop an item then extract. at least for friends. would be super helpful for those in groups with wildly different levels and resources.

I’d personally say absolutely no to that idea. It would lead to paid for accounts (1 player farming and then selling high end loot to ‘friends’)

I can see why someone would want it, but it just reeks of boosting to me. I'd be against it.

It seems an obvious thing to include, so I imagine its omission means they ruled it out during development anyway.

I'm pretty sure devs have already rejected calls for this. I'm not much in to the whole trading side of stuff. It would be nice to have a less clunky way to share kit with mates. Ideally pre-raid not in-round. However I can see how any such mechanic would end up being abused.

after trying the american servers and cross play off i am enjoying it a lot more now, only been ganked once on them and seems a lot of guys are more willing to do team work on the bigger enemies and just pass by each other while looting stuff, even had some dropping ammo for me etc, while on the euro servers i was super frustrated at getting sneak attacked all the time recently :)

starting to get a lot of blue prints today the flame blaze grenade and venator etc

really enjoying this game i wasnt sure about it but took a punt for 27 quid and having a blast with the odd rage inducing moment from other players, im finding the space port to be super chilled:P

ffs was dominating a bastion from high up on the space port with a ferro and some blaze nades, some guy came up behind and shot me i made sure to crawl off the roof and land next to the bastion, if he wants to loot my low end guns he can have fun with the bastion to get to me :P

finding the looting 2 one useful with 2 safe pockets can put blaze grenades etc in one and bring one out at a time when needed :)

Is this still worth jumping into for a noob?
Squadded up? Without a doubt, some of the best MP fun that can be had. I still crave this games Duo and Trio gameplay. Looking forward to more content being released!
Solo? Mileage may vary! Not as good as it was at release. It has gotten very sweaty. I only have to refer you to my posts further up this page to see how I feel about it.
Game itself is solid. Fantastic aesthetic, atmosphere and music.
