Arc Raiders

As I've (and some others) have mentioned, a PvE only option would only work if you couldnt complete the quests in PvE mode and you couldnt collect blueprints in PvE mode and you couldnt use gear you've collected in PvE mode in PvP and I suspect, given those caveats, PvE might not prove as popular as some might think.
when the team that made the game say they had to add pvp because the pve got boring, it's probably best to believe them.

Taken from here.

Permanent Unlocks:

  • The Patchwork Raider outfit
  • Scrappy Janitor Cap
  • Expeditions Indicator icon
  • Skill points (depending on Stash value)
  • +12 Stash space

Temporary Buffs:

  • 10% repair buff
  • 5% xp boost
  • 6% more materials from Scrappy

When the Expedition departs, all items in your Raider’s stash will be contributed toward it. Your next Raider can earn up to five skill points based on the total value of your Stash and Coins at the time of departure. One million Coins worth of value equals one extra skill point for your new Raider.
Thanks for the link. I don't play enough to justify starting over again.

Had bunch of night raids on stella montis while the BP drop rate was high. All I found was the deadline mine BP over and over (which is nice the first time don't get me wrong) but the 5th time got boring. Was even offering it to other friendly people and nobody wanted it either, so it was clearly in abundance. Now I'll never find anymore I'm sure as its nerfed again.

Yup I'll probably be resetting next time but I wont this time.

I have done all my project stuff so its ready to go next time, I dont have 5m worth of assets though, I could, if I really have wanted to probably could have grinded enough this time but I'd like to enjoy being a fat cat for a while plus I am being a blueprint mule for someone.

Yep agreed about gear etc , like SPT mod for Tarkov and indeed Tarkovs own pve mode all gear or progression you get is only for pve.
But there are plenty of popular pve extraction games to be fair so i dont see why it wouldnt work.
The desire for a pve mode seems to be gaining traction according to some YTers and redditers.
Grayzone Warfare pve is excellent, its far from perfect with dodgy AI that are improving with every update.
Incursion red River also very good but very early in its life.
Witchfire does it better than any pve extraction game imho, what a brilliant game.
Then there are the likes of Deep Rock galactic and Helldivers pure PVE with extraction, i know its not the same but i dont see why it wouldnt work.

Anyone remember the Hunters in the Division 2? They were insane fun to fight but rarely made an appearance sadly.

A limited pve mode would work, its just that I (and apparently the devs) think people would get bored of it pretty quickly, I dont see it being as popular as the pve demanders think it would be and as they are already miles ahead as the no.1 title in the genre they simply have no need to implement it.

Yeah I agree. There is not enough ARC bot types and there would need to be extensions to build out that side of it. Right now it would get boring real fast.

When they did that type of pandering in MMO's I played in the late 90's and into the 00's the games lost their edge and were never the same.

Finished off the quests and joined a matriarch group with randoms on Blue Gate earlier, most of us had free loadouts so it was takin a while, then a few more geared fellas turned up. Was a super fun event, all randoms, sharing loot, one guy dropped me a Jupiter Blueprint then i proceeded to get myself killed so hope he picked it up again :D

I dont think the game needs a dedicated PVE mode, i would say 90% of the games i play all my interactions are chill, i think thats more or less the solo experience, people are generally doing their own thing and sure you will get the odd person who is a bit of a maniac but thats half the fun the unknown.

Found it interesting to hear their matchmaking does sort of look at your history and try and place you with likeminded people, not sure what that means for someone who maybe likes to PVE more solo but liked PVP in duos or trios.

Easily worth every penny, its kept me away from BF6 for a good while now so must be doing something right

Stash is becoming an issue lol, im using one of those sites to see what to keep, recycle etc but even so im struggling for space.

You can increase your stash size, there's a button in the stash menu to upgrade it for coins, once it hits its upgrade limit (280 slots) if you're struggling for space it's because you're not using your loot.

It's super important to stress this (for everyone in general, because I see this all the time) There is no other value to loot other than making you more combat effective. Take more custom loadouts with more survivability than with free kits, if you want to radically reduce your stash size in a useful way, try upgrading all the guns you have in your stash to T4, if you don't have the components you need, check your workbenches to see which you can make. You can also make weapon attachments, try and have all your guns ready to go with useful attachments. Attachments don't take up space if attached to a gun in your stash. If you hover over your weapons briefly in the stash it will give you a preview of what they have attached.

Guns are the number 1 best way to compress stash value, and if you're not taking them into combat to use them, all looting is basically pointless.

Tips:
  • Loot of type "Trinket" (the little diamond icon) only value is to sell. A few are needed for projects 1 time only use. Otherwise these are safe to sell instantly.
  • Use the merge stacks button at the top of the stash screen regularly, this compresses loot down if you have multiple incomplete stacks, often saving space.
  • Early on if you're still upgrading workbench's definitely focus on one at a time, working on them all at once means you have to reserve lots of stash space for the upgrade parts

after a mixed bag of runs I just had fairly profitable one. 6 candleberrries, 2 mushrooms and a blueprint I needed.
also due to hammering my premium gear I was in a freebie as well so meant for a squeaky bum extraction.

quick question is there any use at all for the burned out candles or is it just junk to sell? taa!
