Arc Raiders

I don't think it's anymore than any other big release in the past, everything gets a lot of time in initially if it's good, it's just a case of can it stand the test of time or not. Like relationships, games have a honeymoon period especially when no one knows what they're doing, they're just exploring for the first time. As I said it's when the cracks start to show is the real test :)
Hopefully it will stand the test of time, I've got a lot of £100 bets to cash in when the game isnt dead in 6 months time :D

I think it will, it's similar ISH to Helldivers II, but the PVP element keeps it keen.

As much as it will put some people off the ongoing challenge will give it longevity.

Hell divers got boring as **** because the challenge is only through to rinse and repeat, after a while there is no sense of reward.

Lol, 2 rounds so far this evening, both times someone shoots me from behind, both times they get killed by my stitcher, both times they are russian. But one of them was carrying 4 blueprints, an anvil 4, an anvil 3, a ferro 4 and for some reason 4 medium shields. Why on earth when that lot is in your backpack you would choose to start a fight I dont know. Said it before, some folk cant help themselves :D

I've had a mixed bag, tried engaging in more combat, I'm 2 for 3 today though so all good I guess. The one I lost was deserved as well, I wasnt extraction camping but I was hiding from the rocketeer at the power generation extraction on the dam waiting for it to bugger off far enough. I took an opportunistic attack on another raider when they came to the same extraction. It was a little scummy, I lost... It hurt my pride... Worst of all I lost my L4 stitcher:(

I enjoy watching on 2 other raiders fighting then mopping up whoever is left. 2 for 1!

Jeeeez.

Yes Im starting to see teh stitcher is good at PVP. I like the ferro for PVE if I am running a cheap loadout. Its way more ammo efficient as well.

Played 3 games with my mate this evening, three successful runs.

Having the raider exit keys make such a big difference, I need to upgrade my refiner, then I will be able to craft them.

Just need 1 more toaster and the fireball driver thing or whatever it is.

I like an extended mag stitcher for PvP, and a ferro or anvil for pve.

I'd prefer not to need the stitcher but I'm taking it almost every run that isn't a free load out now.

Did about 4 solo runs, 2 for loot on Dam and the others on Buried City for a quest for Shani and Blue Gate for Celeste which I had to bug out of as it was getting a little tetchy around the Olive Grove where I needed to be to find those bees.

Just had a crazy game where I somehow glitched between walls and then fell 4000m through the floor (about 5 minutes continuous falling) before landing back in the game in a completely different place!

No idea if anyone else was in the game but a dead Bastion was lying near the extraction point and I managed to find 2 blueprints and 5 Bastion Cells :D

I've not experienced falling through the map, but I have seen it happen to others, but just carrying on falling almost always seems to put you back in the map eventually. I tend to just get stuck in rocks and crevices which the "unstick player" doesn't always fix. :D

I was raging to my friends on comms about losing the blueprints and then 5 minutes later I have 5 cores :D If you do start falling through the sky, just wait it out!

That happened to me yesterday between a rock and a tree, with a leaper about 50m in front of me. Panic mode!

As much as the random rats that camp and shoot you in the back is, it makes it even more satisfying when you mange to get away with a rattler 1 (free loadout). Then you jump in & out of a building, double back & shoot them as they're going up a zipline thinking that's where you've gone :D

Made it even better that he had a full loadout!
