Arc Raiders

Well they turned this one around. It's a different game. So much better than the first Alpha test. Nice to see devs listening for a change. Wishlisted.
 
Really wish i was able to test this out, I registered months ago for the early access and still no dice. :/

Noticed as per usual all the streamers and their buddy's managed to get keys again!

I actually have 2 invites for this, I will give one to my other half but that leaves one spare. @Nexus18 are you still looking for a key ? If so I will send you my spare key, I know that technically @drazer2000 was first to ask in the thread but I'm going to be a bit postist here and decide that 53 forum posts cant have it over the next person to ask with 32,000+ posts. Do bear in mind though that once you play 4 rounds Nexus you will also have 2 keys to giveaway, so perhaps you could pass it on and offer a key to Drazer2000 and/or @Nevakonaza

Played this tonight for about 3 hours. Was enjoyable and certainly felt like it's more a mission/challenge based extraction shooter with crafting & not too much focus on the PvP aspect which was good. Very tense still.

Died twice in 6 runs. One due to running out of time to extract and another from taking in a "free loadout" just to test it and got annihilated in about 1min as I ran into another player. :cry:
Best bit was getting to an extraction at the same time as another player, he called the lift, I shot him twice, he then downed me, but got attacked by an ARC, so we were both downed. The lift arrived and we both sheepishly crawled into the lift and extracted :D

Folks, as my other half has now done 4 matches, I have another 2 invites available. Now, I do have two RL friends who *may* want them but I will find out tomorrow, if they dont want them then I am happy to give both to OCUK folks from earlier in this thread. Wont be a lot of time left in this weekends playtest by then but should be long enough left to get a few rounds in and get an idea of the game, plus of course you can use the same account for future playtests.
 
Did anyone else face this issue when redeeming the keys?

I can't seem to select any platforms and I tried the linking steam etc. but no luck
 
Just checked, this round of the playtest ends on Mon 5th, so its still open. Keep trying though, did see some people who also had theirs showing all greyed out and then ir just kicked into life
 
Why oh why could they not provide PVE choice..... Game is good fun but as usual, these games just end up the same way with the pvp element, same as every other battle royale/extraction shooter

Game reminds me of helldivers 2 with the movement etc.

No surprise given how every new game has RT to some extent now, the game will have lovely ray tracing :cool: Runs very well

I do wonder if its something they will add, I notice more and more PvPvE games adding PvE only modes lately

Cheers pal, Would just be my luck to be at work ALL day today and not finishing until 9pm!!!

Hopefully i can get a few hours in to try it before it shuts down, 3AM Monday morning for us UK people?

The last day of Tech Test 2 has arrived! And yesterday we became over 70K Raiders in this Discord! This is insane and we love all the feedback and support you have sent out way

As we're closing in on the final day of the test we have some updates:
We will send out a survey later today where you can send your feedback. This feedback is more important than you can imagine so please take your time to fill it out.
Yesterday we had continued issues with Invite a friend. These were caused by an overload of requests which should be resolved now.
If your preferred platform is greyed out on Invite a friend you can either:
1. Link another platform to your Embark ID in Connected platforms and try again.
2. Try again later as we continue to fill these pool of keys throughout the test
We are still sending out keys for invites and Invite a friend for all platforms.


Note that the game servers will close on 05 May 2025 08:30 and until then, see you topside, Raider!
