I understand people not being overly keen on the PvP element but I do think it's really important to have that in this sort of game. Extraction shooters with only PvE are essentially a single player game at that point, you'd be better off playing Helldivers or something similar - whereas with PvP having an impact you always have that balance.
It's also totally possible to just ignore players in this game, you can hug the outskirts, put points into stamina and equip things like smoke grenades and just 'nope' out of every PvP engagement. We ran into a few teams last night that would be doing exactly that.

Reminded me of a lot of Star Wars Battlefront 2! Which makes sense considering Embark is full of a lot of ex-Dice developers (and it's very telling in The Finals with how much destruction plays a factor in that game).Game reminds me of helldivers 2 with the movement etc.
