Talking of this....given all the food items in the game, I wonder if they will ever have a Kitchen workbench, where you can have recipes that create food items for buffs, would give another use for the fruit etc that you can collect in the game

You can already create food from some of the fruit.

or poisons you can pass off to unsuspecting team mates as buffs/heals :p

Yeah it got to 14% done in less than 1 hour, then reset back to 1% and after several hours is only 2%, so looks like they've recalibrated so everyone has a day or so to contribute.
 
Turbo toxic today, seems like every solo is out to ruin peoples day. I guess an update will do that, brings out all the rats.
Jokes on them though I figured it'd be like this so I've been living on free loadouts today. Not lost a single valuable item.

Also why are we "donating" in game items to unlock something that will be accessible to everyone anyway? What a completely stupid mechanic!!! :confused:

I still havent been shot at ! I played the whole of yesterday evening without anyone shooting at me and I've done 2 hours today and still not had anyone shoot at me, I really dont know what it is I am doing differently to other people but I'm just not getting shot at. So its almost been 2 days now since someone last attacked me :)

In regard of the mechanic, as I say, its the same mechanic as in WoW when all the servers had to donate stuff over time in order to get access to Ahn Qiraj (which was also something that would end up being accessible to everyone)

Lads im neck deep in BF6 and Escape from Duckov and Where Winds Meet drops tomorrow.
I want to buy Arc Raiders mainly for solo play but im wondering if i put it on the long finger will i be missing out on much in terms of late to the party?
Will there be any seasonal resets or anything?

Doubt it, but you can actually combine fruit in game if you have the in game crafting skill, one of them is a Fruit Mix, and another is called Agave Juice.

Fruit mix is 25 healing and 50 stamina, it needs 1 apricot, 1 lemon and 1 prickly pear.
Agave Juice is 1 Agave and 1 Wine bottle, it does 5 damage but provides 5 stamina per second for 10s

Like the Fireburner flamethrower thing (made with 1 flamer core and 1 air spray can) I don't think you can make these at any crafting station, it's only with the perk in game.
