Arc Raiders

Lost my loadout last night due to a combo of being ambushed in the open by several Arc drones, and a player taking the opportunity to take me out completely while I was downed (I hope the drones got him!).

But to be honest, I'm not fussed. Now I'll just build some new guns I've not tried yet and get some more stuff. Also a Stella Montis key dropped for me last night, so I've got that to look forward to.

Even if they go down they wont loose anything whilst they extract and you will gain some XP for causing damage to raider upon extraction.

Love Stella Montis, that map actually really does feel like a Division type map (in terms of interior building aesthetics) very easy to get lost in there though, went in solo and ended up with 5 of us running around in a group trying to explore :)

Yeah an Anvil IV is great for taking out drones. Anyone know what the 2nd mod slot is for, think it's a tech slot or something ?

I have a legendary mod for it that fits in there, it turns it into 4 bullets instead of one, I don't dare equip it though in case I lose it lol

Also, it's official from me as being game of the decade by quite some margin!

I haven't got the blueprint for it yet which is annoying, I just make sure I buy them all from the vendor daily to ensure I don't run out of em.

When you die you're done. But you go down into a DBNO state first where you can crawl, so sometimes if you're duo or trio your team mate is going to help you back up if you win whatever exchange you're in, or if you have cover or smoke grenades to cover you. It's only once you bleed out from a DBNO stage do you die and lose your kit, and then yes you're fully dead and your body becomes full loot, you return to Speranza with nothing. But vice versa if you kill a guy who is stacked with loot you get to take his stuff.

It makes fights high stakes. For about a week. Then everyone is so stacked with upgraded weapons that they kinda dont care about losing their kit, on average you kinda trade kit back and forth with similar level players to you. At that point it's just PvP.

New map Stella montis doesn't do much for me it has to be said. And when doing Feats today, they all pulled me to other maps, searching probes, search couriers etc. I do appreciate the variety in the maps though, it will make for some interesting fights.
 
The anvil is a game changer. Got one as a reward and after I lost it bought one and upgraded it.
Still finding most of the solo games friendly. Looking forward to getting on after work. Still haven't done many of the quests just enjoying exploring and looting with the ever present threat of ARC and the occasional raider.

Yep, I'll either be rocking the Anvil, or using free loadouts to scrounge mats for the anvil. Can't see myself running without one any time soon tbh.

I found the blueprint for the venator (still need the anvil) but I buy the anvils or use them from kills/topside finds when I come across them. The venator is ok against ARC and probably better for pvp.

I *think* I got the BP for it out of one of the pack things that you buy with the coin things, the Battlepass stuff, whatever it's called. Maybe. Can't remember.

Possibly.
 
I got it from a quest location in the buried city.. it was with a free loadout so you can imagine how intense it was extracting from there as its major sweaty for pvp that map!
