Something's going on, I play entirely peacefully and in my last two duo matches (both of us play peaceful) rats have killed an entire group of people doing a Queen and were sniper camping in SM.
Totally deflated my will to play again today after losing two full sets of high level gear.
Also - the container trial is utter horse ****.

I did get killed on Blue Gate yesterday but just shrugged it off as I know it'll happen from time to time. As one streamer put it when I said I didn't want to use my Equalizer for fear of losing it "we're only renting these weapons - just use what you have and enjoy it!" ... he's right I'll likely get another sooner or later or better still find the BP.
I do like Deefs streams but enjoy watching WillfromWork and Tomographic playing it too.

I watch Willfromwork and Tomographic too, very entertaining guys. I've been watching TheGamingMerchant too. He's great for tips in the game and mixes up the pve/pvp.
I've still managed to keep out of trouble, definitely getting shot at more frequently these past few days, especially on the roof tops of Buried City and snipers on Spaceport.
2 more Geiger counters to go and that's the new project done.
I've done all the trails this week as well apart from deliver carriables, which I'm striking out on.
I gave it several attempts on Spaceport hidden bunker, I figured double score and 40 minutes, but both times the scoring went weird on me, I'd deliver 1, 1000 points, cool, deliver a second, 2000 point cool.
Deliver a third, points don't change.....
One time I managed to get a third to register but then that's only got me 2 stars, and that was after delivering at least 5 on double score.
I dunno if that map condition is bugged or has some funky scoring method.
Last time I did it on Dam night/lightning (can't remember which) so I'll just give it a go on that when it comes up.

does anyone play on steamdeck? it runs really well however yesterday I thought I would step out of comfort zone and turn on proximity chat. I did a mic test and the feedback/echo was horrendous. I am glad I checked or I would likely have made myself a target for being annoying.
It gives you basic materials for free each time you do a drop.
If you upgrade it it gives your more.

likely due to the proximity of the mic and speakers in the device, I would suggest headphones for the audio to prevent feedback. Itll sound better too, Arc raiders has terrific audio.

I was playing a game with my 11-year-old and his uncle last night. Just a fairly chill round, trying to get some bits for his workbenches. We were on our way to get some lemons and came under fire from behind from another trio. Disaster. Me and uncle downed, just my lad left... I could hear him on proximity saying, 'Dad, where are you?' as I try to crawl closer to safety. The trio comes down to finish the job but hears my 11-year-old's pleas, and they have a sudden change of heart!
'Oh my God, I feel so bad!' one says. Someone defibs me, someone else drops a load of loot for my son. They'd already looted his uncle, but I think they dropped what they took off him. We exchange pleasantries, and they let us on our way. Probably my favourite interaction in the game so far.

I'm not having any problems at the moment.
Are you looting bodies that you come accross? I think that can harm your karma and put you in the naughty list even if you had nothing to do with it.
Done the project fully completed.
Getting the 3 Gieiger counters actually wasn't all that bad in the end.
I reckon the most ball ache of the things was the Leaper Pulse Units, only because everyone and their mum is after them at the moment, and the Arc Synthetic resin which you would think would be easy, and indeed the first 7 or so were, then I just started striking out everywhere.
I've still go to try to do three stars on the deliver carriables, pain in the arse that, I'm borderling thinking I CBA and just leave it at 2 stars.

damn... I soloed a rocketeer and used a town hall key on buried city, loaded to the hilt with my blue scavenging bag, and had my hullcracker III fully decked along with my pink shotgun (can't remember the name) and got taken out at extraction by a rat. that was most certainly my single biggest haul ever.
it's not really an issue. I have far under a million to go before having the full 5 mil for the expedition and I was able to craft new tools..... just gutted I didn't get out with what was almost certainly over a 6 figure haul
on the bright side I did get reved by a few randoms today which gives me faith in humanity and I have now taken to carrying a defib with me on all missions now.

It may be bugged, but the only way I could complete that challenge was dropping a new crate at each field depot. Dropping multiple crates at the same depot didn't increase the score. I think I got back to an extract with about 30seconds to spare after doing four different field depot.
