Arc Raiders

Jumped on me! I was backing off from it and ran out of room. :o

Tried taking out a rocketeer a few times with zero luck, even with decent cover the splash damage from the rockets covers such a wide area.

Also use the anvil its better than the ferro for fighting arc and cheap.

Those lift shaft blocks on top of buildings are not too bad for Rocketeers. Just keep switching sides. Use something with heavy ammo. Shoot the front thrusters, shoot, run round other side quickly. Repeat until it goes down.

I just bring a couple of Wolfpacks for when you need them in an emergency, EG only one extract left, 4 minutes on the timer and a rocketeer over the exit, that kinda thing.

Wolfpacks are cheap as chips to make.

You only need three things really (5 potentially, explained) but oil, crude explosive, and arc alloy.

The make the Wolfpack you need an Arc Motion cores and explosive compound.

However Arc Motion cores can be crafted from 8 Arc alloy, explosive compound is crafted from 2 x oil, 2 x crude explosive.

So, if you run the Dam, depending on which end you start, go between water treatment control, though primary facility and power generation complex on the other side (or visa versa depending on which end you start), fight all the pops and fireballs along the way, there is your Arc alloy, the pops drop crude explosives, and you can recycle the pop triggers to crude explosives. That is already 2 out of the 3 things in plentiful quantities.

Then search through all the metal crates, and breachable stuff, particularly in the primary facility area, and you can easily get 30 x oil per run, often more. Dont forget plenty of stuff recycles into oil, the big gas cans, polluted air filters, motors, water pumps etc to name a few. Also (I think this may be dependent on a skill) but sometimes you get oil from breaching itself.

As a bonus sometimes you might find already made explosive compound/arc motions cores along the way anyway.

I can easily get enough resources to build 5-6 Wolfpacks PER RUN, doing this. On that basis there is no reason not to use Wolfpacks as a convenience when needed.

My game keeps repeatedly crashing. Anyone had any issues?

Lost a lot of gear there
Are you not able to rejoin the game once loaded back up?

I've not had any crashes since playing and sitting at 147 hours playtime.

Made sure your gpu drivers are up to date? Checked event viewer to see what is causing the crash?

Wolfpacks are easily the best weapon in the game, against Arc obviously. The BP has evaded me though and I've decided to do the expedition now so I've given up looking.

The rocketeer is my nemesis, used to think the hornets were a ball ache but thanks to Budforce's advice I got the better of them.

I've killed a few with Wolfpacks, but it's almost too easy. Have had so much fun recently finding new ways to bring them down. The osprey/anvil combo is my fave way of dispatching them, especially at Spaceport at the staircase just left of the North Trench Tunnel. Ample cover and the right angle to agro and pick off a rocketeer.

Just finished gathering the 3 million credits for the expedition, I thought I needed 4.5 million, but that's the catch up mechanic for the people who didn't make the 5 million from the 1st I believe, think I read that right.

Yeah there's not much in there expect a com error. Brand bew build too, only arc installed along with usual stuff. Memory tested last night. Was inconsistent before abd now its every 10 minutes or so.

I had that issue but it was caused by a curve optimiser profile that was stable on everything else I used the PC for.

I thought it was stable but Arc Raiders proved it wasn't.

Outside of that the game hasnt crashed once so far.

Have you removed any CPU overclock or undervolt, and or verified the files in steam?

Tested on any other games at all? see if its just Arc having the issue or if other games have the same issue

Only oc is DOCP (or xmp), Ill remove that. A few errors were related to anti chear system so uninstalled steel series software and just managed a round.

Verified, uninstalled and reinstalled. Updated drivers etc.

Ive not, need to install something and give it a try. Or a good system stress test.

See how long you stay stable without the steel series stuff.

If you've noticed a change already since disabling it then perhaps you have found the culprit.

Yeah, give it a stress test or install another game. Stress test maybe the better option as it puts more strain on the system and will show any issues.

Yes looks that way, just crashed again. Been running free kits to check out.

But as just closing app and not bsod or shutdown its weird that it would be a hardware issue.
