Arc Raiders

I'm only playing the odd round here and there this week before the reset.

Hopefully get on with my mate tomorrow evening and see what of my stash he wants. Got so much gear, got 5 level 4 Tempests for example whatever he wants he can have it.

People talk about gear fear but once you get so much **** you no longer care.

I actually died today Vs Arc, was playing just after 9:30am this morning having basically already finished work and got called in to a random meeting. I was trying to play whilst on teams and had to turn the sound off obviously, got ganged up on by arc, lost a renegade with whatever that legendary mod is, but no ***** given it's all going soon anyway.

I've got to a point where I do not care if I die or not anymore.

I have enough coins (7m) to buy everything I use.

Hullcracker\ammo and Anvil\Ammo from venders, same with light shield, defib and bandages etc
 
I'm gonna log on later and say goodbye lol.

But I CBA to play today, no point.

Was playing duos with my mate last night we were both drinking, was good although I'm a bit hungover today.

Was good fun but we went from friendly lobbies to murder lobbies for no reason, I don't understand what goes on behind it, particularly in squads/duos, we didn't do anything to anger the gods.

Last couple of games were friendly again, meh no idea.

Yeah I'm losing the will to play this now. Half way through a Matriarch battle, get popped in the back. Lost a load of top tier gear.

Then a decent one.

Then the same again, ganked by a couple of rats in the back whilst I was fighting the Matriarch. Scummy way to play the game, and their only punishment is they get put in PvP lobbies... but so do we apparently. I haven't shot a single Raider in 30+ rounds, yet here we are.
 
10 points for the 2nd expedition is only available to previous expedition people who didn't manage to gather the 5 million credits they had set.

It's a catch up mechanic they implemented. I was busy levelling up around level 40 when the first expedition dropped so I wasn't in a position to do it. Doing the 2nd one and have the 3 million + around 800k in my stash.

I've been catching up on quests and randomly looting and guess what? Yep blueprints, blueprints everywhere...oh and epic weapons. All the while I was hunting them not a peep!

Oh and PvP has defintely ramped up too, been getting shot at every other raid, so people must be having a little fun before the reset.
 
I had a last few rounds yesterday & today, purchased what I could from the new Raider deck, without purchasing the actually useful items (heals, augments etc). Then did feats till I was back up to 800 so I'll be able to get some gear that will be immediately useful to my new raider.
I also left the Trophy display project, so that I need 1 x Exodus module and 1 x Gieger counter to complete it. That will give the new guy an Aphelion, 2 x Snap hooks, a Jupiter, 5 x Energy Clips, a Guitar (essential!) & 300,000 coins to give the stash as quick boost. A few free loadouts on Stella night ought to get that wrapped up pretty quickly (although Geiger counter might be a bit of trouble).
I have not even started the new Weather project for the same reason.

Spent most of today just blowing stuff up and dropping loot for players not doing the expedition. I swear this game knows when you don't card about dying :)

At one point I was running around with 2 x Matrirch reactors, about 10 Wolfpacks and a bunch of Lvl 4 pink weapons, heavily encumbered, and found I was running into very few players, and those that I did, were doing the expedition also. I had to spawn in about 4 times before offloading it all to a party that had just done the Matriarch.

On any other day, if was running around that flush, I'd have been lit up by the first player I ran into. I'll get a little gear fear back once I reset.

I'm not a PVPer in this game, looking at my stats last night and I have only downed 2 raiders in over 30 hours of play. Knocked out 1 (who shot at me first). I just quietly go about my business in the periphery. I know the nature of the game, I have 100's of hours on GTA Online which is some of the most toxic, bullying online play I have ever seen but yesterday afternoon topped it for me.
I was doing the quest on Blue Gate where you have to find the bilgun camp by going up a zipline up to the broken highway. Luckily spawned in actually on the road itself so finished it super quick, decided to go to Olive Grove to look for apricots for the rooster upgrade. On approach saw a snitch spawn some arc nearby and a raider get downed by them. I was carrying a defib so went and revived him when the coast was clear. He had no mic but gave me all the thank you emotes and he danced about a bit. I said I was looking for apricots and if he could grab me a couple I'd appreciate it. He hovered around a bit but then seemed to disappear. I got 5 and decided to head home. Went to the airshaft, I presumed on my own, called it in and waited it out in the shed thing. All clear. Jumped down the shaft and started to engage with the terminal inside. Then he just appears next to me as I am mid animation, guns me down and knocks me out. I had a lvl 2 rattler, couple of bandages, light shield and 5 apricots. Didn't even put them in my safe pocket. What a scumbag.

Aside from that I found 3 blueprints in an hour or so later. Best I've ever done. Shame two of them were showstopper and jolt mines, lost count of how many times I've had those. I've just actually come across a place selling blueprints on Instagram. How would that work then? Pay via paypal and meet up in game for an exchange? Seems dodgy to me.

Wouldn't pay for them, just need to do the events for most of the blueprints.

We got gunned down in extract tonight, because two guys seen we managed to loot Matraich cores that were hard to reach. Were dangling off a cliff and had to jump all over it to get to them. Quite annoying, only needed those two for the project.

Very annoying putting so much effort into Matriach/Queen and getting nothing. So went in earlier without anything, no shield/gun etc and managed to get two. Rat life.
 
Well thats my char pretty much emptied onto the mules, cash to max bank, all the scrappy bits adn a canny armoury with a shedload of Wolfpacks

Anyone not resetting need any crafty mats or owt?

Yes should be, I'm working but hopefully get finished up in a bit.

Need to do my push ups etc first and it's nice outside today so will get out for a walk.
 
Yep happy reset day! Although forgot how painful it is using public transport again, I miss my raider hatch keys!

Once you get in the carebear lobbies you don't need them.

I reset with about 15 raider hatch keys I didn't even bother with them.

Plus you should be mostly running the special map conditions where possible anyway.

Ill be on in a bit be interesting to see what it's like out there today. I imagine everyone had got their PvP itch out of the way and now it's reset full carebear mode again, but this game can be unpredictable at times .
