Arc Raiders

blue gate survivor hunt .... ? I have been trying Stella medical area however if am doing it wrong please share. I really want that augment!
Yeh I was doing Stella night raids in medical, never got a good spawn so the place was always ransacked by the time I got there. Looked into it and The Blue Gate seemed to be a good way, albeit a lot more competitive. Doesn’t require an event either.

I had 9-10 goes at it today and ironically my first run was the only time I got there first and i had to run 300m to get to it, every other spawn was closer but always someone there by the time i got there. Managed to bag a few BPs, nothing outstanding though, but at least they’re dropping and as BUDFORCE states he found two augment BPs, so they are in the loot pool in there.

I found my mk 3 survivor originally by chance before the expedition in a server room farming sensors in the north easterly section on spaceport, part of the East Plains Warehouse.

I’m finding though that there’s better loot on day raids than night raids at the mo, don’t know what’s going on with their RNG.

Picked this up at the weekend but I'm kinda struggling as to what to actually do?

Anyone got tips on where to start? Also, is it the done thing to loot bodies? Coming from HD2, it always feels a bit of a faux par to pinch another persons gear.

As you are starting up just build up your gear and blueprints.

I wouldn't over think it too much.

With regards to looting bodies it depends, if you want to stay in carebear lobbies then I probably wouldn't.

There are mixed opinions on it, some say it doesn't have an affect, some say it counts as a negative action. Im personally not sure but I generally don't as most of the time there is nothing worth taking for me anyway.

hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Deliver carriables is such a BS trail..................literally just going, urgh, at the thought.

I am also trying to have a think about Damage Bombardiers, as in, what map/condition will be best. I'm thinking probably spaceport night/electrical..... but then Bluegate it seems to be more predicable at that raider hideout place. There is also usually one in Buried City but given its such a small map everyone and their mum will be at it.

Bombardiers can be very inconsistent with spawning I have found.

Ive been playing ages and don;t seem to be getting anywhere :D
Go solo and follow the quests I'd say where you can. They are tricky as you more often than not get sidetracked and / or spawn absolutely miles away from the objective but they give you a reason to explore a bit. Take free loadouts and dont worry about dying.

I have always been in "carebear" lobbies but at the same time never ever miss the opportunity to loot a body.
if it has any weighting, it isn't much and isn't enough to force you into rat lobbies so long as you don't shoot at players.

as for what to do. I would say for a start use free loadouts , if you succeed in getting home then talk to lance and trade up your free backpack augment for a green one (looting if you don't have any medium shields or combat if you have found a medium shield on your travels imo) .

I would say to get a feeling for the game do the missions. the payouts can be quite good, it helps you learn the maps and on top of that you will need to do the missions sooner or later if you want to get the hullcracker blueprint (an excellent weapon against ARC)

Locked gate event, Bombardiers seem to respwan every few minutes and you get 40 minutes with double points.

Patch notes for 1.20.0

Raiders!

Update 1.20.0 is rolling out on all platforms, please restart your game to download.

  • Rawhide Outfit.
  • Two new haircuts.
  • Il Toro Balancing
    • Dev Note: This is an adjustment many of you requested. We have tuned the Il Toro to address its DPS and effectiveness at range, especially when combined with a choke. We're also making some changes so it performs more like a weapon of its rarity (less versatile at lower upgrade levels and more dependent on upgrades and mods). Most notably, fire-rate and reload time have been reduced, which will make it more important to fully utilize positioning, cover, and timing to defeat your opponents. We will of course continue to keep a close eye on this to see how it plays out in practice, and make additional adjustments when needed. Thank you for your feedback and patience!
  • Pellet Damage reduced from 7.5 to 7
  • Base Fire-Rate reduced from 43 to 38
  • Base Dispersion increased from 4.5 to 6
  • Total Reload Time increased from 4.3s to 5.7s
    • Looping Reload Entry increased from 0.8s to 1s
    • Looping Reload Time increased from 0.5s to 0.7s
  • Damage loss from Falloff increased from 40% to 50%
  • Fixed an issue that would cause persistent audio from destroyed Comets and Fireballs.
  • Fixed an issue where players could get pushed through the wall and stuck on the Dam Controlled Access Zone.
  • Fixed missing collision issues near the east elevator and under pipes on Spaceport.
  • Reduced Energy Clips sell price from 1000 to 200 coins.
    • Dev note: Energy Clips have unintentionally become a very profitable craft, so we are reducing the sell price to make the value profitability in line with other crafts.

See you topside,

Ossen

I'm a relatively new player (only figured out how trials work this week). But, we only had to kill 2 Bombardiers to get 3 stars for that trial. We did it on Buried City (normal, no events).

Do you remember how many lightning strikes it took? This trial is different to the others, in that the squad score doesn't count, just individual ones. So I played a game with 2 people and we all got hit by lightning varying times and we got 1, 2 and 3 stars respectively. In the other trials it was just combined score of all 3 of us within a single deployment/game session that counted.

Haha fair enough.

Yea I'm going for the big points. There is a league table I'm currently daredevil III which is second highest.

I'll bring enough ordinance to down at least 6 it's just finding them on the same map.

Out of curiousity, what would you use? I am only level 35 ish (as were my team) and we just used showstopper, hullcrackers and anvils.

Didn't even start looking at the ranked leader board yet, I think i'm still rookie II/III.

Wolfpacks mainly, Seeker grenades if it's low.

Wolfpacks are so efficient, if you shoot the spotters, 2 Wolfpacks will usually do it, you can take it out in seconds.

If 2 doesn't do it I'll finish it off with seekers or just shoot it depending.

do you guys ever sneak up to it and use those mines on it (deadline I think)? I have a few I have found on my travels but have not had the nerve to try and use them.
on another note. I finally got to the room under reinforced reception that is so popular before anyone else to get the survivor BP. and ... either the RNG gods peed on me or the spawns have been nerfed after the patch. it was utter junk just bottles of explosive, fabric and the like.

No I dont bother mate, Wolfpacks are so efficient, literally 5 seconds and the thing is dead, no risk as you can just chuck them from behind cover.

Its easy to farm Rocketeer drivers as well just came out of Spaceport regular with 5, brought a ton of Skeeker nades which are dirt cheap to make.

Arguably the two weapons that you really only need are the seeker grenades and an Anvil iv with a slinecer or compensator attachment.

Most arc can be one shotted with the anvil - pops, ticks and flame balls. One shot wasps, two shot (if you have a good aim and steady nerve) hornets and fireflies. With seekers as a back up. Even rocketeers and leapers with a good shelter spot can be taken down with that.

That combo can see you doing well in the tight corrodors of Stella and out in the open with the other maps. Certainly whilst working your way up the levels, as like you say seekers are easy to make and both BPs are easy to come by.
