Everyone! Let's do this again, but a little different this time. OP has been updated. I'm going to work on my score today when I get chance.
 
I'll get the ball rolling, this is the best I can do tonight.

No takers last week? Updated game to Tapper and set a two week deadline from now on to see if we can encourage more participation.
 
While im setting up my mister i gave it a go in mame - first run was a 16250 - was onto the third level when i realised i could run up and down the bar to pick up the empties and the money, and also go up from the top keg to the bottom keg.

I got this game for xmas on my speccy in 1985 so it has some nostalgia for me but i find myself never playing retro games like this on my mister since theres no challenge, so i hope this thread takes off!

Thanks! I never knew this and I'm amazed I missed ever doing this while playing. This really does help keep control a little longer, some of these alcoholics though, they never stop and go home :cry:.

I think this is a great idea. I am terrible at games. On my Batocera box, it is on Mame, but doesn't load. The Amstrad version did load and it was a great game choice.
 
I’m in the process of updating my arcade cabinet PC with a Batocera based mini PC. I’ll be joining in when it’s sorted (soon I hope) and back from my hols

I don't want to set strict rules as this is more for fun, and opening options means it's more accessible for everyone to get playing, so anything in which the game can be played.

I don't know the advantages or disadvantages between each versions, but I'm not picky. Just have fun.

Personally, all my attempts will be on MAME. Sometimes there may be a game selected that's only available through one kind of platform, but if there's more than one option, use any method available to you.
