Arcade High Scores! Current Game: R-TYPE - COME ON IN!

Nice guys, I have not got round to this one. Have a copy on PS5 and the Saturn version. I will try to get on it tomorrow :).
 
106,300. Stupidly lost a life on the 1st level but managed to string my last bit of health for ages.

Got to the end of, I think, Mission 4 - with lots of the jetpack dudes flying around. 137,800. I think that's it for me, I don't think I can get any better :D

 
108,400. Mission 3.

Actually got quite a bit further this time but for whatever reason the score was so much lower.
 
144,700. Still only mission 3 but got just that little bit further but with good points from bombs and barrels.

Quite liked playing this one.
 
I have been playing this one on and off for a couple of days. My current score is 93,501. I am hoping to have one last hurrah tonight. Posting now because I will probably forget and miss the deadline! :D.

Only managed a 16,050 at the moment. Pac-man games can be tricky. Does anyone know if there is a blind spot in this where you can just sit and not get hit? I know it there is in the original but haven't found anything for Ms yet

I haven't found anything. There are no patterns like the original, or at least that I can find but the ghosts do follow paths towards you, or just in front of you like the original but they switch away randomly.
