I did think that about Time Crisis tbh.

Sexy Parodius is a good choice.

I'll add NARC and Gunbird to the list, I'll have a think about a third.

Finally beat the ship! The next level is even worse though, no chance of getting past that without lots of credits!

192,500 - ironically my score was less getting past the ship than my previous efforts, think thats it from me for this game!

As we're talking about games, didn't Tron have the rotating joystick, not sure how that would work on the emulators.

To add somge games to the list I'd chuck in some or all of the following:

Ghosts n Goblins / Ghouls n Ghosts
Green Beret
Moon Patrol
Chase HQ
Double Dragon
Rastan
Shinobi / Shadow Dancer
Golden Axe
Final Fight


All are pretty good.

you can play it with a xbox controller no problem, it came out on the xbox (tron)

Ah I'm on about the Arcade one - don't think I've played the Xbox version.

I do love Ghosts and Goblins. From memory, I can get to the boss at the end of level 3, although that probably wasn't on a single credit :D
 
Yeah it is very tricky, even level 2 can be evil with those little imps appearing everywhere, then there's the jumps over the water as well as those giant things. I think I can get to maybe towards the end of level 2 but I couldn't say 100% on that :D

Slight increase to 195,000 - got to the boss on level 4 but when you get killed (stupid ship hiding where you cant shoot it) then it becomes game over very quickly. I might be able to squeeze some more points from shooting more monsters in the run up to it but I doubt it (the ship on level 3 is still very random to beat for me even though I know the patterns a lot better).
