ArchLord Beta ....

Its a good game, its a Korean convertion so some of the text is over running boxes but thats to be expected at this stage.

Its much MUCH better than RF Online, good fun to play nice and easy to get through the first load of levels either by quests or just by killing lots of mobs.

Excellently large variety of items (weps armour etc) pretty nice *feel* to the game and the graphics are good too.

I have to admit, as me and Trox wanted to get PKing ;) We just power leveled ourselves to 10+ with killing harder and harder mobs while carrying a couple hundred pots :D Only did the first 3 quests :p
 
I like how they've done PvP in that everyone can be attacked after 6th level but you get criminal records for certain kills, meaning you can't go to town for a while due to guards killing you.
 
anyone done the registration via the archlord site?
how long did it take for the CodeM email to come through?
 
did you hear about the 3 payment ideas i think its 6.99 a month but your exp in the game takes a longer time to build up or you could go for the third and best payment of £30 :eek: but your exp will rocket up.
 
One-off items that will give you 20% xp bonus in the time limit you use them, doesn't seem too bad to me.

The NDA on the beta has now been lifted by the way. :)

they say its easier to level up ingame than with the additional benefit of paying for enchnced items ...

i mean who would pay for this 6 Month Package :-

to be honest those payment options SCREAM a "grab the money fast!" way of working, makes me think that maybe, just maybe, the games NOT THAT GOOD UNLESS YOU HAVE LOADS OF MONEY!
 
Oh my. I just made the mistake of playing this... forgive me lord for I have sinned. What the hell are Codemasters doing? Are they trying to go out of business? Splashing out all over the place on utterly crap 5 year old korean style rubbish.
 
ok just got my beta key, I'll give my views once the clients downloaded 2gig at 50k/s can't take forever can it?
