To be honest for how we pay on your systems in gpus, mobos, cpus, etc I'd just buy the best paste out there for the sake of a few extra quid (providing you need some more tim that is).

It's not that great. I found the Thermalright Chill Factor II to be better at the same price. AS5 is pointless nowadays...

AS5 people still use that lol, still makes me laugh when i see people using it, why bother waiting 200 hours for something to work right when u can get better stuff, that works right away.

I just bought a tube of MX-3 from here the other day! Only used it on my CPU and GPU, so there's still tons left

Guys, I'll see if I can pull some overtime at work so I can afford some MX-4. Or is it possible to RMA the MX-3 even though I've used it and get some MX-4? This is serious, I need some BAD

Well, Rich, I had to try this MX4 and test it myself to see if it better than mx3!

We shall see but it a pity that ocuk do not stock mx4 itself, so I cannot test it at present !

Why is this ? Surely the review that you had posted it seem worse than MX3 by idle / load temp ?

Found another review here: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/revie...thermal-paste-review-thermal-performance.html it appear that MX4 are good result to be lower by 2C degrees if using 4Ghz or more! The review can be see on the Corsair H50 4.35Ghz i7 980x with 1.45vcore with MX4 on it.

Seriously, you really do need to get out more.

While there are tight git's like me around, MX-2 rules in the "best bang for your buck" thermal paste.
