Hi,

I'm considering one of these but I have a concern.

They are thicker than most rads so when mounted to the ceiling of my case I dont think it will clear the CPU power cable which as with most cases connects on the top left and goes up

Does anyone have a 240 model in a Meshify C? Or a similar case that could advise? I'm not even sure if it will clear the shrouds on the motherboard at this point

Following with interest - I bought a different cooler because of this concern. The refillable Rajintek one.
 
Shame about no replies I thought this was a popular cooler, I'll give this a bump before I get the tape measure out and try and work it out which will likely fail miserably!

38mm thick rad plus 25mm thick fan in a meshify C mounted at the front won't work as it will impact my GPU

Two fans is only 50mm, don't you have one of these coolers, would have thought you would have been aware of the thickness of the rad if so

3 fans it 75mm which is more than the 38mm + 25mm of the unit. Putting two fans together would let you see how much room you have and where you can position it. I thought that would have been obvious.

I used to have a cryorig AIO that was 38mm thick.

You said 2 fans, thats 50mm

Now your saying 3 fans, thats 75mm

The AIO is 63mm Inc fans thick so if it's obvious you're making it less obvious

It won't go in the front as I've said, it should fit in the ceiling but it's a risk, I don't know if I can be bothered with the hassle of returning it if it doesn't fit so might just stick with air or look at slimmer aios

Do you have the care? Your best bet is to measure it. :)

if you don’t someone with the case needs to help you out or get a 25mm thick rad.

just out of curiosity why this specific AIO, is it because it has been branded the best? It’s only got 24month warranty compared with Corsair and NZXT. Is that something worth considering

Yes I have the case and measured up, I think it will clash with the CPU power cable but it's difficult to tell for sure

I think I'm going to pull out the pc tomorrow and see if I can get the cable to bend round a bit more to free up a couple of mm

The 240mm artic aio is the best under £100 from what I can see reading up on it, cost/performance seems to be up there but reliability is yet to be seen so the 2 year warranty is a concern
 
Have you thought about buying those after market extension cable that makes the cable flat so it can probably give you a bit more wiggle?

If it is a couple of mm you will get away with it, it is just a royal pain to get it in. Also ever thought about getting 12mm fans instead of 25mm I think noctua has slim fan in 120mm config

Not sure what you mean by the flat ones I've got some braided pcie cables but not seen flat, I'll have a look, thanks

I'll pull the pc out today and measure properly I think as long as nothing sticks out more than 40mm it should be fine but I'm pretty sure the CPU cable is taller than that

I don't think I would want to put slim fans on, additional cost for less performance doesn't make sense to me and the P12's are a very good fan for the money it would be a shame to replace them
 
Not sure if you're still looking at this OP, but I have the 360mm in the top of my Fractal Define 7, in push pull. It fits because my case can take 120mm or 140mm up top, and the radiator actually sits more towards the glass panel side of the case, so even though it sits over the ram sticks (can't take them out without getting the rad off, it gives a decent amount of room over the mobo. I think the meshify also does 140mm up top so might work for you?

Edit: I can take a pic of the radiator mount later if you think it might help
